Scope
The Art Specialist Program caters for students who have a keen interest in Visual Arts. Students in the program must demonstrate good work ethic and behaviour.
 
Program Vision
The Art Specialist Program will help students develop advanced Visual Art knowledge and skills that will prepare them for success in senior school, TAFE and/or University.

Program Rationale
The purpose of the Art Specialist program is to expose students to enriched learning opportunities to develop higher level outcomes in Visual Arts and gain nationally recognised industry qualifications.

Each year the school has an intake of students who are gifted and talented in Visual Art.
Students are selected into the program upon completion of an application form, presentation of a folio of work, and an interview.

The course is a year long course and immerses students in an exciting array of Visual Art experiences encompassing all aspects of art.
